Marketing To Moviegoers
The author of a highly regarded text on marketing in the film industry approached me with his idea for a website to help promote his book, as well as to provide a forum to present his own lecturing services and general information about the movie business. The site has an eye-catching film trailer at the top of the home page, a very regularly updated page of news and features, a current schedule of the authors appearances and other related events, as well as a newsletter, a search tool, and many other features.
The Bandolins
The Bandolins are a six-piece string band based in Fairfield County, CT. They wanted an "old-timey" website to reflect the music, which is a blend of mostly instrumental traditional old time and fiddle tunes, reminiscent of the Carters and other family bands, as well as bluegrass favorites by the likes of Bill Monroe and Jimmy Martin. Like other music websites, this one features member biographies, a photo gallery, a performce schedule, and music samples via flash player.
Martha's Vineyard Online
Martha's Vineyard Online has been the number one online destination for everything Martha's Vineyard. After 10 years of growth, it was time for a major overhaul. We were handed the designer's mockups, and rebuilt everything from the ground up. Now nearly a year after launching, MVOL.com's visitor traffic has nearly tripled, to over 2 million page views per month!
Fairfield County Online
Fairfield County Online is a growing regional business directory serving Fairfield County, Connecticut. Advertisers from all over the area are showcased, representing all manner of goods and services. It provides visitors with information about where to shop for certain items, what to do with the family on weekends, where to send their children for extra curricular activities and where to go to unwind for a night on the town.
willPower Productions
Stacey Lei is a renowned fitness professional whose pioneering classes, workshops and techniques have been featured in magazines and television spots the world over. This site was created as a way to present her company, willPower Productions, and its ideas and products to a wide audience.
The Emissaries
The Emissaries are a New York City jazz band. They wanted a slick site to simply get their name out there, and to provide audio clips of their music for downloading. We created MP3s of the songs from their CD and you can hear them too. The site attracts a lot of business from people who can learn everything they need to about the band without making a trip to a nightclub or showcase.
Compuconn, Inc.
Compuconn installs data network installations in schools and offices. They also sell cables for these networks. They wanted a clean site to get their name out on the web as well as to sell cables and hardware. Using our templating tool and ecommerce package, we created this site to allow Compuconn to update their own content, post specials, and manage their cable inventory.
